Nasgovian Human Species in Hoomanland | World Anvil

Nasgovian Human (Hue-man)

Right? Glass the whole lot of them!
Nasgovian Humans are a native race to Nasgovia and live mostly in the north. Because of their varying beliefs, they are broken up into multiple nations.   They are known to be a surprisingly determined and adaptive race despite their appearance.

General Description

Humans are a diverse, bipedal race. Their skin colour varies, mainly depending on how far away they live from the equator as well as how much sunlight they have to deal with.   They have a thin layer of hair on their body, though more hair grows on their head, which also comes in a limited range of colours. A Human’s average height is 5’6 however it also has a huge range, with humans being able to reach heights of 6’3.   Unlike the Edgevillians, Humans can see a variety of colours on the light spectrum. Some can be born with color blindness, but the chances are extremely small.

Origin

The most scientific theory that the Nasgovian Humans have about their origin is that they evolved from primates on Nasgovia. However, some also believe that they had arrived from the sky a long time ago.

Economy

Agriculture

Humans grow a range of crops and animals for consumption, as well as use with other materials. They also have large ships that fish in the ocean.

Industries & Trade

Industry for the Nasgovian Humans has boomed since they struck oil, leading to the fast development of many industrial technologies.   The most common item that they trade with each other is refined petroleum and electronic parts.

Currency

There are many variants of Human currency, depending on the specific nation. However, it is all universally backed by gold.

Language

Humans speak in their native language of Nasgovian though there are a few variations depending on the region.

Views on other Cultures

There is a lot of infighting between Nasgovian Human Nations over their differing opinions and beliefs. However, after The Great Glassing they became more unified against the Hoomans and for the sake of their own survival.

Foreign Cultures

Edgevillians

The Humans are unsure of what to make of the Edgevillians but don’t see them as any sort of threat due to their pacifistic nature.   The relations between the Edgevillians and the Humans grew strained as the Climate Crisis happened however since the actions of the Human Nation indirectly affected the Edgevillian’s safety.

Hoomans

Humans and Hoomans have never really gotten along due to their cultural differences and the former’s constant pollution on Nasgovia which has led to wars such as the The Two Month War.   The relations between the Humans and Hoomans became mostly unsalvageable after the Great Glassing, which led to the almost destruction of the Human race.

Conflict

Humanity as a whole is complicated as they can be aggressive and violent as well as peaceful and cooperative. However, the Nasgovian Humans get into a lot of conflicts with themselves and other races.

Slavery

While not common place and frowned upon, some of the Human Nations still has slavery and servant classes.

Abandonment

Humans are usually stubborn in their territories, even from natural disasters. However, they will leave areas under severe destruction.

Natural Disasters

The Humans were affected by the beginnings of the climate crisis, but the governments were still unwilling to change their ways.
