Sandspeaker Roshan el-Nossa
Roshan el-Nossa is a Qartagonian female red dragonborn priest and the Sandspeaker of the Amaranthine Sepulchre in the Scaled Quarter of the Holy City of Jeharoa. As Sandspeaker, she acts as the public face of the Kōsite community within the Heavenly Council-dominant Pilgrim Kingdom of Jeharoaand endeavors to lead her people through this period of occupation with dignity and restraint. She is seen as suspicious by the Pilgrim elite despite her numerous pledges of loyalty to the current rulers of her city and she is sometimes seen as too moderate by those Kōsites who chafe under Pilgrim occupation.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Roshan is an old red dragonborn woman with faded red scales and burning orange eyes. Much of her time as Sandspeaker is spent wearing the sacred dragonbone mask of the Sandspeaker, which gives her a fearsome appearence she despises. Much of the time, she prefers to be dressed in simple desert hermit clothes of rough wool and leather.

Personal history
Roshan is originally from the Niru River Valley and moved to the Mashiq along with a number of other dragonborn families as a teenager during the rule of the Qartagonian Emirates. Her father was a scholar and encouraged his children to study and engage with all the world around them, even those who did not practice Kōsism. Roshan was skeptical of this until the Siege of Jeharoa during the First Pilgrim War. Roshan and her family were devastated by the attack, and they fled into the Amaranthine Sepulchre. Though her father was killed, Roshan and her sisters were spared and left alone. Roshan grew closer with other Kōsites following the war and worked to rebuilt their sacred place. Eventually, this work became more religious in nature, and Roshan became one of the leading Wardens of the Sepulchre. A few years ago, the Wardens voted to have her become Sandspeaker, effectively making her the voice of the Qartagonian exiles and Kōsites that still remained in the Holy City of Jeharoa.
