Explorer of Food

From a young age, food captured the imagination of Oshpa. She would be in the kitchen of her parents experimenting with dough learning how to make bread. By trial and error, she taught herself the basics of cooking. Sometimes this meant that the food wasn't edible.. at all. But other times happy accidents created new variations on classic recipes that the family gobbled up in no time.
As Oshpa grew older, the constraints of her culture clashed with her views of the world. Her love for cooking was heavily frowned upon by the city elders, because this was no task for an elite High Elf in Eilmaris. Her parents, one being a member of The Counsil of Eilmaris, have been pressuring her into a career of politics and goverance which also caused its fair share of conflicts at home.
So, Oshpa came up with a ruse to be allowed out of the city, where her parents couldn't follow her any longer. She proposed to travel for a year through Yurin. After all, if she is to govern or go into a political career, she must have a connection with the people whom it affects. Against all her expectations, her parents agreed and thus Oshpa set out into the world.
She did travel through her country first, to get familiar with the ins and outs of travelling by herself all the while tasting new dishes from local villages and learning more about the local culture. When she was feeling confident, she made a deal with a merchant to take her over the border to the neighbouring country.
From here, the rest is history. Oshpa continued to travel far and wide, tasting dishing, learning cooking techniques, and more, fullfilling her lifelong and naughty dreams.
