Octavia Morgan (a.k.a. Galactic Gloom, Gloom, Tavi)
The unexpected eighth born of the Morgan octuplets. Octavia works three jobs as the Hero of Grimham, the Damsel of Grimham and a piercer. Her identity as the Galactic Gloom is not known to the public, of course, and is only maintained because of her ability to split herself in two.
Octavia is hard-working, sarcastic and a bit snarky. She's a fan of body mods but, to help preserve her secret identity, she limits herself to only piercings, swapping out facial piercings whenever the mood strikes. She also, on impulse and a dare from a friend, got her tongue split.
Outside of work, Octavia is a big fan of cars and has her own cat, a fluffy black and white goofball named Shrimp Our Souls (Shrimp for short) who she dotes on.
Octavia is also seemingly in some sort of time loop. The Heroes' Gala of 2027 ended in disaster. During this mess, Octavia was killed a reawoke a little over a year earlier. She is completely clueless about what caused this reset, but she's not going to waste this second chance. This year, she will fix whatever it was that went so wrong, even if it kills her.
Physical Description
The ability to manipulate glittery bits of darkness (or "Gloom") and the gravity within them. Using these bits of "Gloom", the Galactic Gloom is able to levitate herself or other people and/or objects, increase the force of her blows, stop things moving at high speeds, and more. She is also able to split herself into two identical versions of herself. Both halves of her are able to act on their own and have a somewhat vague idea of where the other is at all times. When they merge back into one body, Octavia will have two sets of memories that are both equally vivid and real to her. Her mind is able to handle this due to her mutation.
Mental characteristics
Octavia started Heroing at age 17 as the Galactic Gloom. Her initial attempts were clumsy and she very nearly died several times before she got the hang of things. When Octavia was 20 she accidentally began her career as a Damsel after Doctor Enigma kidnapped the half of her acting as a civilian while she did her Hero job. For one reason or another Enigma seemed to have taken a liking to Octavia and from then on, she was her own Damsel.
Octavia realized young that she is bisexual and has been comfortable in her identity since she was in her teens.
Octavia graduated high school, dropped out of university in her first year and got a piercing apprenticeship, which she completed.

Personality Characteristics
To protect her city and her people. She feels as though she has her powers for a reason and it only makes sense that she uses them to protect. Nonetheless, she's relieved that her Supervillain isn't a real threat. She's not a real threat
History
Their first meeting was as the Galactic Gloom and Doctor Enigma. They became rivals as Hero and Villain and eventually Hero and Supervillain. When Enigma kidnapped the half of Octavia who was acting as a civilian, she became the Damsel as well as the Hero, to the knowledge of almost no one. Talira is not in on the fact that Gloom and Octavia are one and the same.
Despite their relationship being one that ought to put them at odds, Octavia realized fairly quickly that Enigma is not truly a threat to Grimham. The two continue to work in their roles, but they both view it as something like a friendly game between them.
In 2027 Doctor Enigma attacked the Heroes' Gala for reasons unknown, killing many, including Octavia.
History
Drew and Octavia met at summer camp when they were both in middle school. The two become close friends nearly instantly and stuck to each other like glue. They lived in the same city at the time, so their relationship continued even after camp ended despite them going to different schools. This friendship has very much continued on to this day and is unlikely to end.
