Primordial Hell

Primordial Hell was the era of Hell predating The Withering and Lucifer's fall. The surface area of Primordial Hell was fifty times larger than Modern Hell and was lush with life. It consisted of two large continents, Eohora and Inuin. It hosted two larges bodies of water called the Inner Sea and Outer Sea. Primordial Hell's seasons and natural phenomena were caused by the cyclical movements of the three Primordial Beasts, Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz. Many cultures worshiped the trio as gods.

Geography

Much about Inuin's geography is unknown though it is said that the continent slowly rises towards its center in a constant, gentle slope. It's landscape was mostly lush, overgrown forests, filled with giant, ancient trees.   Eohora's landscape inevitably changes with the motions of Behemoth. It sported dense jungles, arid mountains, blazing desserts, rolling plains, and vibrant coastlines. There were six major rivers, though the land was covered in countless smaller ones which shifted easily with the will of Behemoth. Along with the six major rivers were five steadfast mountain ranges.

Ecosystem

Most sentient races of Primordial Hell were immortal. Death was never natural. Instead it was caused by disease, violence, or deprivation of vital resources. Physical forces of nature, like the Primordials themselves, kept the populations in check. Massive monsters would wipe out cities that grew too loud, or Behemoth would send his son, Beelzebub, to spread plagues through the land.

Ecosystem Cycles

Ziz was the master of all atmospheric cycles, controlling the day and night cycle with their glow and weather patterns by frequently dipping close to the Outer Sea's surface and rising with its moisture. Since Ziz's patterns were regular on a yearly cycle, people could predict their seasons rain or snow based on previous years. The further Ziz was from somewhere, the colder it got, while the closer they were the warmer it got. Some valleys were isolated enough that they never saw Ziz directly but still benefitted from their lighting of the sky and rain that followed in their wake.
