Arrimor Peninsula
The Arrimor Peninsula juts out from the southern tip of Mar Miskun, a wild and uninhabited region known for its rugged terrain and dangerous creatures. The peninsula is dominated by rolling, rocky hills, sharp cliffs, and barren plains, with little vegetation beyond hardy Chorka shrubs and patches of Stonefelt lichen that cling to the dry, windswept soil. The few plants that survive here must endure the fierce winds blowing in from the Gamanaean Ocean.
This remote region is a place of mystery and danger, with numerous reports of monstrous creatures inhabiting its wilds. Giant Scorpions are known to roam the rocky outcrops, lying in wait for prey among the stones, while Wyrms are believed to burrow deep beneath the earth, surfacing occasionally to hunt. The treacherous terrain and presence of these predators make the Arrimor Peninsula particularly hazardous to travellers.
The coastline of the peninsula is just as dangerous as its interior. Jagged cliffs rise steeply from the sea, with the waters around the peninsula being notoriously rough. The Carrion Islands lie off the eastern coast, adding to the peninsula’s reputation as a place to be avoided.
Few people venture into the Arrimor Peninsula, and those who do are often drawn by legends of lost treasures hidden in its caves or ancient ruins. However, the dangers posed by both the landscape and the creatures that call it home ensure that most of these adventurers never return.
