The Blackfire Mountains
A region of fiery mountains bordering the southern most edge of the known world. On the continent of Aederos Some have said that there are lands beyond. A burning tundra caped on all sides by charred peninsulas. But all that have ventured beyond by sea or by one of the precious few paths leading through the mountains have not returned.

Geography
A wide, consistent range of volcanoes. It's highest peaks standing abreast in single file like a dark and burning wall between the known world and a charred land beyond. No plant life survives where these mountains rise.
