Crown Prince/Princess of Yashida
The crown prince or princess is the official successor of the current King/Queen Regent and typically is the eldest child of the current Regent. Although it is not uncommon to assign younger siblings to the role should no direct offsprings exist yet, or some regents completely forego their own children and instead declare their grandchild their direct successor.
Requirements
Typically, the Crown Prince or Princess need to be of royal blood of the current dynasty, and they should be younger than the current Regent. Usually, the Regent appoints their first-born child as the new Crown Prince or Princess, although if the Regent is childless, it is not uncommon to appoint a younger sibling or cousin of theirs.
Appointment
The Crown Prince or Princess is typically appointed upon their 100-day-celebration as they tend to be the first child of the current King/Queen Regent of Yashida. Rarely does the Court wait until the 12th birthday of the child, although it isn't uncommon amongst royalty with many offsprings.
