I really like how this article exposes the vanity of the first. The fact that they/it/he/she has created entities to fill a gap only to be disappointed but also content with the outcome is an interesting idea too. A great take on gods and their playthings.

What I Learned

I took the reading challenge to select articles that I felt were close to my own world. To look at how others were approaching similar topics to my own. I can tell that I still have a long way to go in terms of really fleshing out a living, breathing world but insights from the articles above will play a part in the journey.

My New Year's Resolutions

This year I plan to keep worldbuilding. I want to take part in the 2025 Summer Camp and 2025 World Ember to help achieve this goal.
Along with this, I'm also hoping to make a start on a fantasy novel that takes place in the world I am creating.
All of this alongside a full time job, relationship, game jams and game development! Wish me luck!
