Sibyl Theodosia Pythia
Sibyl Theodosia Pythia
Sibyl Theodosia Pythia is the leader of Corio's Nobility and a bishop of the Church of the Seven. House Pythia is one of the closet related vassals under House Romanos, and Sibyl Theodosia is rumored to be a distant cousin to the Oracles. Like most humans of the Magisterium, she is a practicing wizard, on par with the Counts and Countesses of the other major Halruaalan cities. House Pythia specializes in divination magic, particularly with communing with nature spirits and the celestial servants of the goods. While she is not as powerful as a seer, she is well known for accurate predictions and her connection to the Goddess, Initiumartis.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Sybil Theodosia appears as an average and plain woman. If not for her dress and the fact she resides within the Hall of Knowledge, it wouldn't be wrong to consider her another commoner or average Magisterium wizards (based solely on her looks). The only truly marking distinction is her eyes - a notable mark of house Pythia.
Identifying Characteristics
Sibyl Theodosia has large purple eyes, marking her as a noble of house Pythia.
Physical quirks
Most who interact with her claim that she is very aloof, often times appearing as though she is a thousand miles away - whether this is a condition of her ties with Initiumartis and the other of the Seven is unclear.
Special abilities
As a Sibyl of House Romanos, Theodosia is blessed (or some might say cursed) with the ear of the gods. Her connection and studying of wizardry has opened her mind up to communion with the celestial servants of the Seven.
Mental characteristics
Sexuality
Theodosia is straight and is rumored to have had many consorts share her bed.
Education
Sibyl Theodosia studied at the Vision Academy and was well accomplished in her younger years studying. Eventually, she became a teacher in addition to her noble duties.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Theodosia is the most powerful leader Corio has seen in a few century. Many of the laboratory and researchers of Corio have been supported by the Sibyl.
Failures & Embarrassments
To this the Sibyl has yet to divine the nature of the bottomless lake surrounding the the Hall of Knowledge. Granted even the Oracles have been unable to find out why, but as a divination wizard, it is her greatest shame that she can't divine its secrets.
Intellectual Characteristics
Sibyl Theodosia is a known inquisitive mind, but nothing on par with the likes of Archon Kimiko or the Sibyl of Demmanos. Theodosia constantly strives to understand the mutations in the wildlife and magic around Halruaal.
Morality & Philosophy
Sibyl Theodosia is both a feminist and equalist. While most under House Romanos are committed to the matriarchy of the Dytika Isles, she tries to run Corio with equal respect among the men, woman, and other individuals within the cities limits. Though she would never openly oppose the philosophy of Romanos, she subtly tries to bend the ideology to assist the men that reside in her walls.
