Harbor Side Inn
For most new ship arrivals to Corio, the Harbor Side Inn is the first sight they see traveling down the main thoroughfare. This three-story building sits comfortable at the edge of the docks, inviting traveler to Sea Side. It is a steady reminder that the smell of sea salt, fish, and grungy sailors are an ever present in the district, though it is reasonably well kept, modest, and usually has vacancies. Run by a pair of Gnolls, the main thing you might have to worry about is perhaps the copious amounts of fur.
Purpose / Function
the Harborside caters to fresh arrivals and sailors (other than the Nauts), but is primarily a tavern first. Locals in the area are comfortably welcomed into the spacious dinning hall that is the first floor. Here the food is plentiful and the ale never stops. The two other floors are rooms that are available for rent should one be too drunk to find their way home, or are lacking in that particular department right now.
Alterations
the building originally looks like it was constructed just to be a single-story tavern, but over the years gained multiple levels and rooms added as the need arises. It is truly a patchwork of designs. The bottom floor set up with white stonework, but the top two are build with what appears to be a collection of scavenged drift wood and ship parts.
