Alacher
West of the Cragmaw Heights and just south of the Utgard Wilds lies the Empire of Alacher. It is widely believed that the Empire of Alacher is the largest kingdom on The Continent. No one is entirely sure how far the realm stretches, but their cartographers and explorers go further and further west in an attempt to keep adding to the map. The Empire of Alacher is also probably the most diverse nations next to The Palatinate. It is home to humans, elves, dwarves, half-orcs, gnomes, and many other races who all seem to find a place in society. Other kingdoms on The Continent are mistrustful of Alacher due to them being seen as a backwater compared to the rest of the nations. Even though they are seen this way it isn't always true as Alacher has made great leaps in industrialization to try and compete with the rest of the continent. When it comes to war they are quickly sought after as allies due to their endless source of man-power. Alacher enjoys this because they know others see them as a "backwater," and like to hang that over the heads of potential allies to get the best deals possible.
Territories
The Empire of Alacher controls most land west of the Cragmaw Heights. Alacher originally expanded outside of its ancestral lands pushing further and further west. This brought them into conflict with the natives from the region and the people who inhabit the Utgard Wilds. Alacher's aggressive expansion has also put them at odds with the Ghaallixirn Dynasty. After the War of Palatine Succession, Alacher was able to keep lands it had seized from Lothariangia during the war.
