No one is sure where the dragonborn originated from, or what time they exactly appeared on the Continent. Depending on the legend, some say they were created as servants to dragons, while others believe they were once human sorcerers who could not control their magical abilities. Whatever the case, most historians and scholars believe the dragonborn originated somewhere near the Cragmaw Heights. These dragonborn had a mass exodus westward, founding a great kingdom. Not all dragonborn went west as some of them also spread throughout the continent integrating themselves into different cultures and societies. Dragonborn range in color depending on the dragon that they're descended from. They organize themselves into small familial units that are organized into larger clans. These clans aren't necessarily related by blood, but they are many different families that have come together sharing a certain bond. The dragonborn value honor above all else, and have a strict hierarchical structure that they must follow.
