The gaslights originate in Foundry but they also illuminate parts of Skirts and Camino. The introduction of this luxury fostered safety and comfort and allowed illuminated districts to resist the recession that plagues the city. The threat of darkness and inevitable economic downturn that would inevitably follow allows the Gaslighters to charge an exorbinant fee to the chamber of commerce and local businessowners.

Of course, the Gaslighters are a subsidiary of the Beaumont Group, so all that public infastructure funding gets funneled right back into the Milieu, jeapordizing the peace that they so eagerly pay to protect.
