Though no one would ever say it out loud, "Beaumont" is the first name in the region, not "Baudelaire." Starting from their humble mine in Foundry, the Beaumont family has since expanded their operations into the conglomerate Beaumont Group. Pursing vertical and horizontal expansion alike, the Beaumonts have gained influence by sinking their fangs into every industry and institution in the city.
