Former Mayor of Hearthwick

Oliphar Bulbanius had the appearance of a slightly oafish and portly magistrate, but the truth was far more complicated. He was the mayor of Hearthwick, a village closely bound to the Royalist cause, but was himself a devoted Rebel. Even more than that, he was a secret informant, using a Cloak of Elvenkind to sneak out of the village to meet with his confederates. Unfortunately the cloak was stolen, complicating affairs.

When the priest Borrin was killed, Bulbanius felt it safe to venture out without the need of stealth. He could not have known of Borrin's new status, and without the necessary precautions he was observed, caught and captured by the dead priest. He was killed as a traitor to the (currently empty) throne.
