The Cerrado
The Cerrado is a region on the continent of Midvar. The vast savannah that forms Cerrado is littered with rocky hills and plateaus. This region of Mera is predominantly populated by the Tabaxi, Dragonborn and Tieflings, although all races of Geldora can be found in the Cerrado. These grassland with dispersed Baobab and Candelabra trees. While the lack of water makes the Cerrado a difficult place for most tall plants such as trees to grow, the ones that do grow here have adapted to life with little water and hot temperatures.
Geography
The expansiveness of the Cedarro is interrupted by the El'Shiban river, which separates the rocky hills and plateaus in the northwest to the grasslands that grow southeast of the river . When it rains, the ashen soil turns into a calcium-rich material that is as hard as cement. The northern area lies in the shadow of the Cragspire Mountains and is composed of shortgrass treeless plains, as this area does get much rain. The landscape is dotted with a number of granite and gneiss outcroppings, which are large rocky formations that are the result of ancient volcanic activity.
