Strawberry Slope

Strawberry Slope is the largest village in the Emerald Hills north of Wolland, the largest island in The Freeisles. It's inhabitants are almost exclusively harengon families, collectively known as the "hill tribes". Most of the buildings are burrows dug into the hillsides.

Locations

Freeisle Airfield: The only official landing spot for airships in the entire Freeisles, located on the tallest hill above the village. It is little more than a hut with a few piers built on the hilltop.
Moore's Multimerchandises: An extensive underground general store owned by Wantz and Hazalotte Moore that sells all kinds of everyday items, tools and foodstuff. The Moores are rich enough to own an airship of their own.
The Lucky Rabbit's Foot: A busy bar ran by Jackalope-Thom, a satyr with his ears tied upwards like a harengon's. It is the only building in the village that is completely above ground, with sunny terraces on the hillside. The bar is known for its "Jolly Jumper" drink made from local carrots that boosts the drinker's leaps.
Barkstream Carpenters: A large family of harengon woodworkers, whose members have spread all across the Freeisles and beyond.
The Bat Cave: A notorious seaside cavern filled with blood-sucking bats some ways away from the village, where the bravest young harengons perform a rite of passage by competing who manages to stay inside the longest before driven away by the bats.
