Floar Peninsula
A Peninsula on the southern island of Finndal. Covered mostly in low-lying wetlands and scrublands. A strategic shipping location. Inhabited by the Poeme people before the conquests of conquertia.
Climate
A temperate, low-lying biome that gets lots of rain. the Floar Penninsula gets some 60-70 inches of rain per year, mostly in the wet season. this causes most of the peninsula to be notably humid most of the year, except for the mild winter, where it is common to only get 1 inch of snow.
Fauna & Flora
The unique kind of Flore Willow that grows straight out of lakebeds and deep wetlands. It's branches are home to many types of native birds and insects, and the bark can be made into a good anti-inflamitory medicine. it's branches also provide shade for many kids of plants and mushrooms that grow in lowlight, most notable, the entama mushroom, which, though glowing faintly, is edible.
Natural Resources
A large amount of forests cover the eastern regions of the peninsula, as well as a large supply of above-ground coal. the more southern and western regions are good for fishing and the collections rare plants often used in medicines, though it is often said that the real most important resource on the peninsula is it's location, large and mostly flat, the land of the Floar peninsula is good for industry from metal to farming, just don't put them in the same spot.
