A group of native people in the eastern region of the Floar Peninsula known for their large-scale trade routes and boat building.

Major language groups and dialects
The northern and southern dialects of the Poeme language both sound very different, often the southern dialects is called "simplified" as it is the language commonly spoken by sailors and taught to non-natives.
Foods & Cuisine
The Poeme focus on plant-based ingredients, especially entama mushrooms, a tart-tasting mushroom found in the region. Often these ingredients are taken together and grilled or sautéed with an oil. Due to their heritage as major tradesmen, the ingredients in Poemean cuisine are often a wild mix of plant and spices from all over the globe.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
For women, the poeme prefer shorter, rounder women. Generally it was the men who worked, so their beauty standards changed to prefer a daintier, smaller woman.
On the flipside, tanned, muscled men are considered a sign of hard workers, and are preferred.
Gender Ideals
The poeme do not have the same gender stratification as some societies, but they do genrally believe that it's the men who work and the women who stay at home. Some Poeme women do work, but they are often considered odd.
