Tyrant

Imperial God, Black Dragon, King in Shattered Crown

Tyrant is one of the most important Gods of the Black Pantheon that, in fact, used to rule entire Gehenna with an iron fist. He was deposed by a succesful rebellion, knows as Shadow Rebellion, during which he was defeated (narrowly) by a coalition of almost every Black Pantheon God and Goddess.   He is perpetually plotting to retake what he once lost. If he ever succeeds and manages to reunite the Gehenna under his rule, it will be a sign of inevitable End Times that will soon engulf the world. Before that happens, he remains a leader of one of the four factions warring for control over Gehenna in perpetual Gehenna War.   His realm in Gehenna is called Dragon Graveyard. It is described as an infinite land of beautiful nature... covered in bones of countless dragons. Theologians argue to this day what meaning they have. He rules it from the Black Throne, that he himself forged from an unknown material (speculated to be dragon scales, bones of some primordial being... or something different altogether).

Dragon Graveyard
Domain of Tyrant is described as a beautiful landscape of clean sky, transparent water and fertile soil, basking in ther powers of the World Engine. It could be a paradise similar to Elysium, with the only discerning feature being a skeleton corpses of a falled dragons (of various size, up to those that dwarf mountains)... if not for its inhabitants.   Dragon Graveyard is a tyranny of epic, supernatural proportions. It is a place where only strength matters, and where everything is assembled according to Tyrant's will. The Dragon Graveyard is a strict hierarchy, assembled by Tyrant according to personal strength. Nobody is free, there is always someone above you that is more than happy to relief stress by ruling over (in other words - abusing) you. But whoever it is, has someone above him to punish him for everything as well.   And that goes all the way, from the lowliest, least important creature to Tyrant himself. He, in turn, is permanently tormented by the fact that he was deposed and humiliated, which is something that burns him for eternity. Making even those highest in the Dragon Graveyard hierarchy... less that satisfied from their life.

Servants
During the Great Game Tyrant commands vast armies of the Dead and his servile daemons alike, all of them kept in line by nothing else than fear and chance of some relief in their perpetual misery. An examples of them are:   Bone Dragon - A dragon-like daemon that lives by devouring Dead and smaller daemons - and the dragon bone that is covering big parts of Dragon Graveyard. Its organism use the bones he ate to created a bone-like armor covering it. It can't fly - its much to heavy for it - but he is protected by almost impenetrable armor and has fangs and talons sharper and stronger than steel.   Man-Mountain - A terrifying weapon of war sometimes assembled by Dragon Kings serving the Tyrant. A massive number of the lowest tier of Dead banished to Dragon Graveyard merged into a massive humanoid being dozens (sometimes hundreds) of metres high. With the strongest of them, standing atop each other, making for his legs, then gradually weaker the higher one goes. With even its weapon - a massive hammers - made of humans. Which means they quickly break into swords of whips simply by their... material breaking.   Dragon Archsorcerer - An elite magic user of Accursed Legions from the Dragon Graveyard. Wears truly terrifying attire made from human skin and uses staffs from dragonbone ending with exquisitely carved dragonheads. Their heads are somehow twisted into a forms that makes them look similar to dragonheads... while still remaining terrifyingly similar to human heads. They use mind magic to cause fear and dominate enemy minds... while using death magic to simply kill them.

Divine Domains

Tyranny, Slavery, Domination, also Oppression and Rape.

Holy Books & Codes

Variety of legends and books, that were never properly unified. Many of them slightly vary between regions in Imperium, including even rather important things.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Closed crown.

Tenets of Faith

Principle tenet of Tyrant's faith is: control. Your own fate. Everything around you. Power and strength is everything, and when you have it, you are free to do whatever you want from it. In a way, that's similar to the Shadow's approach, but while both Gods oversee stuff like revolutions, they support different sides. Tyrant always supports those already in power, regardless of what they do, while Shadow sides with those wanting to overthrow the pre-existing system.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Tyrant wants to restore himself as a overlord of Gehenna. To that goal, he will do anything. He fights against all other factions participating in the Gehenna War, while simultanously trying to combat his equally hated enemy, Ember.   He hates a lot of people, in short. And all of them to death. It also makes him an enemy of entire White Pantheon, since they aren't particularly interested in bringing End Times, and Tyrant getting crowned back as an overlord of the Gehenna will mean them starting.

Physical Description

Facial Features

During his manifestations he tends to be hard to observe in details. The overbearing 'OBEY' and 'KNEEL' feeling forces everybody to prostrate before him, and trying to look up is generally believed to be a thing that you only once in your life.

Identifying Characteristics

On his head is supposedly a metal band, with small part of a crown (at best 1/10 of it) attached to it.

Special abilities

Just as all gods, Tyrant is omnipotent and omniscient, his power over reality limited only by influences of other beings similar to him. He is more than capable of forging completely new reality with but a friction of power - afterall Dragon Graveyard is practically a world, as 'real' for its inhabitants as 'real' world is for mortals.   As any god Tyrant isn't limited to 'today', as there is no 'today' for gods. They exist simultaneously in every 'now' of every 'today' from the moment the world is created to the moment of its eventual demise. The only reason they limit themselves to human concept of time is to interact with them without being too 'alien' for them.   Tyrant is also capable of creating literally unlimited numbers of daemons - not to mention as many types of them as he wishes. He could also create as many species in real life, but settled after creating only Sharptalons and darklings.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

He is one of the Imperial Religion's Primeval Gods. Together with Discord, Ember, Judge, Destiny and Traveler he helped create basics of the imperial afterlifes.   Together with Discord he was responsible for creation of Gehenna. It was supposed to be his personal domain, a 'proper' Hell of Imperial Religion, where those who lived their lifes wrongly were to be forever punished by Tyrant... and their own evil. Unfortunately, it broke.   Tyrant created Deviation as his queen. She wasn't precisely happy with the fact that she was created to fulfill Tyrant's internal desire of having someone to submit to him in bed. Very soon she helped instigate a Shadow's Rebellion. A divine insurgency, during which most of the Gods and Goddesses of the Black Pantheon fought against Tyrant.   He would win that war. Easily. He was a most powerful of them all, with his crown amplifying his power. But... enemy had Hedonism. A perpetually drunk and stoned God that, when Deviation and Shadow kept him sober long enough, turned out to be a master of strategy and tactics that, while being always outnumbered, kept winning through sheer tactical shrewdness.   Tyrant lost. He was finally cornered atop the Citadel of Punishment, his personal palace/fortress. Other Gods held him in place, while Shadow shattered his crown (dividing parts between divinities participating in the Rebellion) and stole parts of his flesh, bone and soul, creating new Gods from it.   He was kicked out of the Citadel, that he could no longer enter, as it could fully exist only by drawing power from his crown. He created new throne and placed it the Dragon Graveyard, where he resides to this day, forever hating his opponents and scheming their downfall.

Sexuality

He is generally considered a patron of rape and the most abusive of abusive forms of sexual slavery. That pretty much sums up his approach to things done in bed. The fact that GODDESS OF SEXUAL PERVERSIONS (including masochism) felt abused and inspired a rebellion against him says a lot.

Morality & Philosophy

Tyrant is a divine personification of complete lack of morality. He is a patron of those that rule and oppress others, regardless of laws and moral systems that he sees as nothing but hypocritical chains. Unlike Shadow, he doesn't even see them as something limiting one's potential. He merely sees them as limiting.

Personality Characteristics

Likes & Dislikes

Likes obeying him (and tortures, rapes, slavery and so on), and tyranny as a whole. Dislikes initiative, revolts, not obeying and generally being unruly.

Social

Family Ties

A Primeval God. Created many Gods of Black Pantheon, but nearly all of them doesn't consider him a fatherly figure. His first wife was Deviation (we all know how it ended), while the second is Fury. With her he has two sons (Dagger and Corruption and one daughter (Deception.

Religious Views

Tends to see religion as all gods do. A sort of contract between mortals and immortals.   Gods provide afterlife and make sure that mortals won't blow up their world to smitherens (or that they won't be wiped out by something). In turn they set up certain rules the mortals should adhere to, that are in long-term good for them even if sometimes hard to follow. They receive veneration as a payment, and use mortals as a pawns in their schemes.

Speech

Uses closest equivalent of caps lock in his manifestations. So overbearing that people tend to drop on their knees, with their will to resist nearly extinguished immediately.
