The central valley of Valessia. It is a fertile forested land, for long untouched by mortal hands. Valvinnia, the city of the same name, is located here.
Geography
Valvinnia is surrounded by many mountain ranges. It spans from the mountain pass where Heart & Soul are, to the Wilds in the east, and Southern Shore and Seedforest to the south.
Natural Resources
Valvinnia is another fertile region, though its soil lends itself to different kinds of plants than Quarterfields. Namely, Valvinnia is known for its many vineyards.
History
Humans and faechilds were the first settlers of Valvinnia, with dwarves following later from the frozen wastes and Oghan's Beard. It was a region long untouched by thaumaturgy, until of course the Thaumic War. Afterwards, with the establishment of The Academy, Valvinnia was the last major settlement, and the third capital city.
Currently, thaumaturgy is outlawed in Valvinnia, as it is in the entire south of Valessia.
