Quarterfields
Quarterfields (reč. Štvrťpoľa) are one of the main regions in Valessia. It's a fertile flatland from which quarterlings originate, and home to the city of Bradva.
Geography
Quarterfields are all flat, surrounded by the various hills, cradled between the mountains. Great Oghan lays north of them, with Valvinnia down south, only accessible through a mountain pass (where the twin cities Heart and Soul now lay). The river Val's Hair, which splits from Oghan's Right, flows through here.
Natural Resources
Quarterfields are known for their fertile soil, and thus rich in agriculture. Many quarterling settlements take care of the numerous fields which grow all sorts of plants, including various grains, potatoes, tomatoes, etc. There are also many famous orchards of apples and pears, as well as the largest beekeepers in Valessia. It is also the only region where crystal bees live and produce salt honey, at the northeastern wall near Bradva.
