Tarkantry
The Tarkantry are the elite military force of the Caluan Desert, feared throughout the land for their unmatched combat skills and mastery of desert magic. Descendants of the ancient Sandcloaks, the Tarkantry have evolved from defenders of the desert to aggressive enforcers of the Oligarch's will. Clad in black armor and golden masks, with red leathers and cloth flowing in the desert wind, the Tarkantry are a striking presence on the battlefield. They wield curved blades at the end of staffs, their preferred weapons for close combat, and use their sand-blending abilities not just for stealth, but for powerful offensive maneuvering. The Tarkantry can summon sandstorms, unleash explosive bursts of energy, and control the very terrain they fight on, making them nearly invincible in the desert. Led by the Khazar, the Tarkantry are Romulan's personal army and the guardians of the Salt Fields, enforcing the Oligarch’s rule with brutal efficiency.
