Boto Silverstaff was born in the province of Harfjörd (renamed Orichlan a century earlier, the locals of Bardur had a tendency to be stubborn to the old ways) to Raemon Silverstaff and Nala Farrest. His father feared the deadly Fogholt Plague and spent his time researching in the North to protect his family. Boto grew up to complete his father's research with his younger brother Remus and built both the Spellstrung College and Magi Guild in Skygarde. Remus ended up bevoming an Oracle of the Seekers.
