At 75, he met his fate on the battlefield, a victim of the very tensions he had fought to suppress. His son, Odalric, cremated his remains over the volcanic veins of the mountains, a potent ritual that tied fire and death to his legacy—an enduring symbol of the Oakhand bloodline’s indomitable spirit.
