Kasper Windslayer
4e
Kasper Windslayer became the Moot Electorate due to his father Berold’s death. He carried the weight of Ivorian law and tradition on his shoulders as he presided over the contentious referendum that would decide the next Eastking. His patience was tested over the course of a year as none of Berold’s other children or himself could gather a majority. Thus, Kasper was forced to declare the Second Eastern Moot, invoking the Contest of Challenge that would decide the future of the Ivorian throne.
Kasper was a gifted musician and artist, his creativity and passion infusing the court with culture and beauty. His works of art and musical compositions were celebrated throughout the land, though his sensitive and introspective nature sometimes made him an outsider in a family of warriors and rulers.
Kasper would not back down from the tournament but he was never the best fighter amongst his kin. He refused to concede in a battle against his brother, feeling it would dishonour his father’s name if he were to surrender. Arturus was the clear best fighter amongst the siblings, narrowly defeating his brother Otto in a competition before. Arturus carved through Kasper’s chest with his blade, killing his brother while winning the title of Eastking in the Second Eastern Moot. Otto was given the title of King’s Blade, to protect Arturus for the remainder if his rule.
