Ilato
Ilato is a city of formidable strength, nestled on the heart of a hot tropical rainforest. The heat has caused a tropical desert to form out of the beach sand. The population is a mix of Pacuran and Frelheid, who are known for their martial prowess and devotion to the goddess Sootha. The imposing walls of the city are guarded by the fearsome soldiers of the local army and guard, who have trained rigorously in the training academy located within the city.
In the heart of the city lies the training academy, where young warriors and sailors come to hone their skills in order to serve the city in times of need. The academy is a bustling center of activity, with students sparring and practicing combat under the watchful eye of seasoned instructors.
Outside the city, there is a stronghold named Hightide Rock, accessible on foot only at low tide twice a day, making it a strategic location for defense against invading forces. Boats must travel across the otherwise arid landscape to access the stronghold at other times.
The city also boasts a port, allowing for trade and travel across the sea.
