This upbringing honed his intellect and strategic thinking, making him a valuable asset to his family's legacy and a respected figure among the Windslayers. Domini grew distant with his family and discussed war games with the Windslayer Eastking, acting as if he was in his brother’s place.
The Creeping Inferno (4E, 478):
A dangerous natural disaster known as the Creeping Inferno ravaged the Gaulan Plains. It was a devastating combination of ferocious wildfires and a relentless heatwave that swept across the region, leaving destruction in its wake. Crops withered, rivers dried up, and towns and villages succumbed to a slow crawling grassfire. This blaze slowly crept across the vast dry grasslands of the Plains. Roderick Sireheart, the Captain of the High Guard at the time, led relief efforts, mobilizing his High Guard and the Church of Dhara to provide aid and shelter to the displaced populace. The Creeping Inferno led to a period of scarcity and hardship, but it also forged a spirit of resilience and unity among the people of Mercadia. This event occurred during Fredericus' rule, other nations were affected as well. Fredericus' twin brother, Domini, who was living as a political envoy in Ivoria to the east, also had to help his adoptive home get through this devastating heat wave.
