Thomas Skinner

A man of humble origin, Thomas is a natural born leader and hunter, a surviving member of the Copper Companions, and a founder of Meadowbrook. He currently serves as Ais Fórsa in Meadowbrook. He is married to Elizabeth Skinner with whom he has fathered three children, Daniel, the eldest, the twins, Colton and Lily, and their youngest, Delilah. He is a caring father and husband; a protector of all the inhabitants of Meadowbrook. He towers over most, sporting a powerful frame to boot. Though stern and rather intimidating when times demand it, Thomas is a kind and compassionate individual who would put his life on the line to provide for his family and community.

Personal History

He was born to Thomas and Marsha in Tosaigh, a small hamlet just a days travel on foot from Timber Keep.   He is a surviving member of the Copper Companions, an adventuring company who played a crucial role in the War of Heralds, the civil war which lasted from 1260 to 1264, and ended when King Harlan III was slain after the Battle of Gorges, when his keep at Farron was breached. Having lost nearly half of its members in the war, the Copper Companions disbanded shortly after differing interests towards the future, with Kast Elieg and Deluth Morgont wanting to leave the kingdom while Elizabeth, Thomas, and Percival wished to see out the final mission they were given. The two groups parted ways after burying their fallen comrades a half day's travel from the ruined tower of George's Peace in Southern Kessex. Thomas and Elizabeth agreed with Percival to meet one year in the same location after settling personal affairs.   One year later, Thomas and Elizabeth Skinner with their children, Daniel, Colton, and Lily met with Percival, finding that both groups had brought company with. Thomas and Elizabeth's brought the recently widowed Noel Nevidash and young Vash II as well as trusted companions, the scholar Theodric Belintree and famed blacksmith, Belda Mossenstone, who brought her adopted daughter, Joleyana. Percival brought with him Philip and Mari Quelemuex, the skilled acrobats that helped them out of a pinch in Roam about a decade earlier. Together, they founded the small hamlet of Meadowbrook in the spring of 1265
