Daniel Skinner-Baatar
Stern and martial, Daniel is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Skinner, and currently serves as the Commander of Garda Síochána in Meadowbrook. He is married to Sarnia Baatar-Skinner, with whom he is the father of Altandöl and Thomas II. He is a fierce protector of his family and those under his watch, as well as a loyal friend to many. He leads by example, often seeing to the the defense of his people personally, trusting his sword and shield to defeat evil from the frontlines.
Personal History
Daniel was born on a cool summer day in 1259 to the adventurers, Thomas and Elizabeth Skinner in the Torthuil Forest near what would eventually become Meadowbrook. At an early age, he grew up traveling with the Copper Companions, a mercenary company that aided those who couldn't afford the typical rates other companies charged. When the War of Heralds escalated in the spring of 1263 until its finish in the fall of 1264, Thomas and Elizabeth left Daniel in the care of mutual friend, Theodric Belintree, a scholar who was currently employed by Lady Marlona of House Liath to educate her son, young Bryce Liath.
