Personal history
Elizabeth was born deep in Moferreto's Forest to father Floric and mother Bláth under favorable omens on a warm night in the early spring of 1230. Her parents were part of Drelinn's Grove, a small coven of druids who communed with the ancient spirits of Gaia, tending to the needs of the wildlife and maintaining harmony in their grove. Elizabeth was taught how to maintain wild crops by her father and her mother schooled her daughter in how to tend to animals and taught her Tainmhí, the practice of shape shifting into beasts of forest. Elizabeth exceled at her schooling and by the age of 15 she had mastered all her grove had to teach her.
Though life was peaceful, the older she got, the more Elizabeth heard the pain of distant groves in her meditation, causing her to grow increasingly restless until she could no longer heard the peace in her own grove. In her 19th summer gathered her belongings and, with the blessing of her parents and coven, set out on a Sil Tosaigh, a druidic pilgrimage to restore corrupted nodes to Drelinn, the Great Spirit of the Forests. Elizabeth traveled for nearly a half a decade into her 24th spring, cleansing many nodes and fighting all manner of corruption when she met Thomas Skinner.
Though initially against the idea of partying up with a hunter, Elizabeth came to admire Thomas's respect for the cycle of life and nature. Together, they adventured for many years together, eventually developing a romantic interest in one another. When learning she was pregnant in the fall of 1258, they ceremoniously eloped and she gave birth to Daniel Skinner on a cool summer's day in 1259. Struggling to maintain a balance between a life of adventuring and parenting, Elizabeth agreed to retire with Thomas after the War of Heralds in order to start a simpler life with her family and friends new and old. In 1265, they built their home of Meadowbrook.
