Sunrise Offensive

A Kinsetarian civil war that led directly to the founding of the Crystal Kingdom.
The Kinseti Nationalists took over the National Palace, leading to the Fifty Days of Terror. The Kinseti nobles requested aid from Vesper, citing their own assistance during the Bloomial War. Vesper was slow to respond, and the new government began expanding, annexing the Argoline Mountains and Boros. Sensing an encroaching danger to Vesper security, State Secretary Richard Lovett is credited with convincing Mayor Andro Egveidt to take action.
Artek (the Vesperian military) launched a massive land invasion into Kinsetaria, quickly destabilizing the Nationalists' attempt at a new government. The Capricorn Battleships, developed shortly after the Bloomial War, were sent to encircle Kinsetaria's struggling navy, but ultimately they would see no action.
Officially, the war ended with the leveling of Great Chrysan Town, the former capital of Kinsetaria. Nycar "Knife Ears" Cronn, a young and charismatic general in the loyalist army, was installed as the provisional governor of the nation following the destruction of the Nationalists. A few years later, however, he was found to be conspiring to reinstate the Nationalists party, and was executed by the man who would become Crysos the Just. Shortly thereafter, the Crystal Kingdom was established.
