Andro Egveidt

The first Mayor of Vesper under Gaia 19, Andro Egveidt initiated the current economic-political system known as High Liberalism, which supposedly "squared the circle" by lowering government spending without sacrificing social programs, though vigorous means-testing. The High Liberal Party's official name is the Egveidt Party, named for Andro's twenty-year reign, though it is more typically called the Merit Party.
