Merit Party

The liberal party of the the City of Light, established by Andro Egveidt in '05, the party (typically called the High Liberals, or just Liberals) have ruled over Vesper essentially since its inception.
Originally led by Ristacia Caldoron, the interim governor of the City before the establishment of the Mayoral system. The party was then taken over by Andro Egveidt, the City's first Mayor, and was renamed for him. Officially, it is still the Egveidt Party, though common parlance as reverted to the Merit Party.
