The original settlers of the city build the first few buildings and farms along the western coast of what was then unclaimed land. They would call it Roseport, after the rose bushes found near the coast.

The War of Dredarek
Military actionA horde of humanoid monsters bands together in the thousands, forming a horde of darkened steel and claws. Led by an ogre giant named Dredarek, they would swiftly and unexpectedly begin to attack villages and people within Roseport's territory. The army of Roseport would gather, led by Alexander Tavron and begin a campaign to wipe out the horde. Dozens of battles would ensue, and much life would be lost. The war would span three years, the Roseport army would be victorious but at a heavy cost of life.

Alexander Tavron is intered in the Heroes Mausoleum
Life, DeathAlexander Tavron dies under mysterious circumstances and is interred in the Heroes Mausoleum underneath Roseport. Only a select few are present for the ceremony, the public is never shown the body. Secretly, however, Tavron had contracted vampirism, and though his heart had stopped beating, he lived on in between death and life. His remaining family tucked him away in a secret dwelling behind his tomb in the hopes that a cure would be found or that he would quietly die without harming any of the residents of Roseport.

Heldrin conquers Roseport - Beginning of Era of Crowns
Era beginning/endLess than five years after the death of Alexander Tavron and the successful defeat of Dredarek, Roseport and the growing Kingdom of Heldrin would officially join. With Roseport becoming one of the kingdoms newest city-states. Many herald this as the official end of the Time of Roses and the beginning of the Era of Crowns. A time in which Kings, Queens, and Emperors rule over large nations and growing populations.

Life, Organisation AssociationShe approached the large gate and peered through to the yard beyond. Suddenly she heard approaching footsteps, a guard patrolling the homes outer walls. Quickly, she scampered up to the top of the houses outer wall. Rolling on to her back and laying flat against the cold stone bricks. She covered herself with her dark cloak and held her breathe, hoping the guard would pass without noticing her.

Political eventDuke Cross arrives and takes control of the city by decree of the King of Heldrin. Holds title of Royal Regent and Duke of Roseport until he is dethroned by a group of thieves. King Thadeus Telvour VIII arrives and imprisons him, strips him of all titles and land, officially ending his reign.

MarriageA lavish marriage between two of the cities most prominent members, Councillors Osler Van Ross and Lacey Larcoga Fentina. Taking place in the Central Library where the pair met almost two years prior. The library held so much significance for them, it was where they first met, and where one of their greatest adventures together began. Now they stood in the libraries grand hall and took the next step into the bounds of matrimony. What they didn't know was from the back of the hall, a familiar face watched on, waiting to give some unexpected and dangerous news.
