Kenta

The Kenta (kɪn-tə) is a vibrant society of merchants and artisans, settled on the southern coast of Frigranden. The Kenta trade with the Chalibeth to their north and with the Suvi islanders off the southern coast. Recently trade relations with the Orc tribes both east and west have solidified and the Kenta have expanded their networks across Frigranden. Their perfumes and medicinal products are legendary. Their tailors are the best in the world. The Kenta operate on a six-day workweek with one day off for ceremony and family. Their pantheon shifted centuries ago, splits in observances sending the Chalibeth north. The Kenta worship a tightknit family group of gods, emphasizing the closeness of family, strength in hard work and rewards for the deserving.   The Kenta have separate, distinct lineages because their culture is a blend of human and halfling working families living in close proximity. Though they cannot interbreed, both the humans and halflings of this region and society are called the Kenta.
