History
After a basic version of all the simpler religions, all the gods were suggesting each of the prophets meet eachother and create some world peace. They did that and made a religion out of it.
Mythology & Lore
After Osiris made the world each of the gods came down and gave small versions of their blessings to many creatures. Those that Hana blessed became humans, those that Garret blessed became fast or practically invisable, those that Darrel blessed became defenders of their loved ones, and finally those blessed by Hunter are very healthy or even just plants.
