History
The Magical Society was formed in 1500 BC in China by a small group of powerful mages who saw that the world was unaccepting of the things it did not understand. They began to reach out to other civilizations to keep the existence of magic and magical creatures secret and safe. They worked to keep magic well documented as well as private, making it possible for many old-world spells to still be known in modern day.
By the year 1000 they had spread to other continents and coordinated to keep the knowledge of magic within their society. In the year 1030, they created a specialized "S" class ranking for their distinguished members, following the outstanding accomplishments of a mage at their European branch.
In 1905, the now international organization made the decision to rebrand and give themselves a viable cover story for the outside world, creating the company of Bulletproof Guardian Security. They started to coordinate more closely with the governments and law enforcement of all major cities, taking on contracts that we're unrelated to keeping the secrets of magic in order to retain peace and prosperity for the world.
