Personal history

Taniguchi Hikaru was born on April 04, 1991 in Tokyo, Japan. He was raised by his father, since he never remarried after his mother's death. He did however have another son, Hikaru's younger half-brother Jurou. He discovered when he was young that he didn't have the ability to harness his magical energy, although he was taught to suppress it. He met Keru Minoru when he was wandering through some back alleys, killing time while skipping school. Minoru looked like he had been beaten up and so Hikaru dragged him to a hospital to help him. They later found out that they were soul linked after Minoru mentioned having seen Hikaru in his dreams before. They joined Bulletproof Guardian Security in 2013, at his father's urging, and moved to an apartment in Incheon, South Korea.
