Personal history
Lee Minhyuk was born on January 16, 1988 in Daejeon, South Korea. In spite of his parents efforts to correct his behavior, he often found himself getting into trouble at school. After his mother made the decision to home-school him, he lashed out and wound up killing her, and then his father as well. He left Daejeon and found refuge in Seoul by joining Bulletproof Guardian Security, claiming that a mage had killed his parents and he was searching for the culprit. A year later he gained leadership over the Seobang Faction in Korea, morphing it into the international organization, Baem Gunin. While studying the phenomena known as 'soul-links' he discovered that a mages power can be boosted by a linked soul and set his sights on Min Yoongi, using their shared dreams to find him. However, despite spending the better part of eight years trying to sway Yoongi to his side, Yoongi remained stubborn and he adopted more extreme methods, eventually giving up and breaking their link entirely. After betraying Yoongi and Bulletproof Guardian Security, he focused his energy on growing Baem Gunin to become a massive threatening force.
