Baem Gunin
History
In early 2004, Lee Minhyuk took over the former Yangeun Faction in South Korea, taking advantage of their resources and members to form a new group, which he gave the name Baem Gunin (Serpent Soldier in English). While many things didn't change from the functions of the Yangeun Faction, he changed the group into a more violent and aggressive group with a focus on gaining power and magical knowledge.
After he was certain of his control of the group, he headed an order to recruit more mages into the group, hunting down known mages and killing any who refused to cooperate. In the midst of this genocide, Minhyuk himself put forth the effort to murder the standing Seoul Branch Leader of Bulletproof Guardian Security, who was a notable mage at the time. It wasn't until the end of the next year that the killings ceased, many mages either having been recruited or killed worldwide.
The motives of Baem Gunin are mostly unknown to other organizations, but they are known internationally as a dangerous terrorist organization, which Bulletproof Guardian Security has been trying to dissolve.
