Dozens of healers, doctors, and herbalists can be found on Flotsam Town's streets, but those in the know always head for one place: Maen's Herbs. Owned by Maen Mistsinger, Maen's Herbs was built nearly two centuries ago.

History

The Herbs

When Maen's own world was lost, some centuries ago, all she had were a handful of seeds. She had no other remnant of her home. Inflicted with Shatterheart, she no longer aged, for better or worse.

Even she does not know how long she wandered the Between, but she passed her time well. As a herbalist by trade, Maen gathered every seed she encountered along the way. By the time she was at last picked up a group of Fog Drifters and brought to Flotsam Town, she had hundreds of varieties, making her the most well supplied herbalist in the area.

And once she was there, she was content to plant them. All of them. Maen had carried them for so long after all, who wouldn't be curious?

The business was practically a byproduct.

The Business

As Maen's greenhouses filled, and grew more complex, word began to spread.

Of course, she only knew a handful of common cures out of her stock. But with both demand and her own curiosity, over time she has learned... quite enough.

In the early days, she traded cures for information. Do you recognize any of these seeds? What common cures did your world have?

Nowadays, Maen's Herbs consists of several greenhouses, a kitchen, and a very well stocked library of medicene. If a condition exists, she has something for it. Even Shatterheart.
