The traditional pointed hat of wizards adorns his furry head. A specialized saddlebag adorns his backside with pouches that contains all of the necessary equipment any wizard could need.

Personal history
Spud was found as a puppy that was left at a wizard’s tower at Aberford University. Taken in and named Sterling Petton Ulithar Dyrovius, the wizard had a crazy idea: what if he tried teaching the pup how to use magic? By the time Spud was two years old, that’s when his master began teaching him. The dog was a quick learner, surprisingly, and with a little help of arcane influences, enhanced Spud’s sentience enough to cast spells to where he could summon his own human familiar, Familiarus.
Eventually, there came a time when Spud’s master left him at the university. Usually Professor Dyrovius returns to his office before dusk so maybe he was running late because of students needing help. So, Spud continued playing ball using his mage paw spell. Having the whole room to himself is always a blast! Familiarus usually cleans up after him anyways.
A day passed. Then two more. Poor old Spud was running low on biscuits and had already snuck into his master’s secret stash to help him cram on lesson preparations. Eventually Professor Finch had to inform poor Spud about his missing owner. Not even the divination department there could find him.
Because of this, Spud has made it his mission in life to find where his master has gone by chance. The only trail he has left behind were receipts to the notorious Doctrine Society.

He is a good boy and a dog wizard. Golden retriever that wears a wizard hat and specialized saddle bag. Familiarus is his human familiar.
