Both Thomters have the ability to phase in and out of the material world they are on. Whether they can control how and why they appear is up for debate. They either appear at the most needed or most frivolous moment. Those who have tried inflicting harm upon the Thomters frequently fail to do so as their strikes or shots simply go through them or bend around them.

Personal history
It all began in the Kingdom of Dover within the Florenic World of Arturias. The renowned scientist, Eldwen Thomter, was a hermaphrodite, a condition of being both male and female. Some like to speculate that Eldwen was meant to be a set of twins that both got developed into one being by accident while in the womb.
Growing up, Eldwen grew fascinated with the idea of the Averse, the Realm of Distortion. All the possibilities it could bring and the way things are not always permanent. So, they took a chance and toyed with it via a portal and stepped inside. Through a horrid act of mitosis, some Aversal power split Eldwen in half! What spawned was Edwin and Ellen Thomter.
Upon returning back to Arturias, the twins noticed an even stranger phenomenon. All their paperwork, all their years of being the single Eldwen instead shifted and accommodated for their split. Everyone else they knew treated it as if they always were twins from the start. The twins continued their work, slowly adapting to being two people instead of one.

Motivation
Both Thomter Twins dread the dire situation within Arturias. As Florenic explorers, they are keen to get away far from that powder keg waiting to explode from the rising tensions between Cordero, Doven, and their allies. If it means being far from there, they’ll do anything to be away from it.

The Thomter twins often trade input when speaking to someone. When one twin finishes a sentence, the other then speaks up.

Edwin has a British accent.

Through mortal means, this is impossible. But with the Averse, all things are possible.
