Inconvenience Store
Inconvenience store is a store located in Å+*4~ - Central District, owned by Guy and Isabella. Though in a convenient location, the store is anything but convenient. If you come here you’ll more than likely find yourself overpaying for items you didn’t even want to buy, while not getting what you came here for.
Who are Guy and Isabella anyway?
Guy and Isabella moved here from Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3 where they lived for a while, and before that they both lives in East T@Ö#Å3. People there are especially known to be a little bit strange, and people of Wasteland in particular are known to scam all of their visitors out of their money. Being used to this kind of life, it’s no surprise that Guy runs his current store like this too. This store wasn’t his and Isabella’s first store in Å+*4~ though. They moved through a few different districts and opened and closed a few stores before finally settling here, in Central District.
What does Inconvenience Store offer?
First of all, it offers way more that it is actually willing to give you. Generally you'll find here snacks, beverages, magazines, stationery and a variety of different trinkets. Who knows, maybe you’ll even find something that was stolen from you recently! If you do, prepare to pay way more than it’s worth to get it back though. Often you’ll find rare items given to Guy from his Wasteland buddies, but you can be sure you’ll have to pay a good price for these. Actually, you’ll have to pay a good price for anything here and then maybe not even get it.
Items here don’t exactly have prices, Guy just makes them up on the spot. If you get a price just pay the money and go, because it’s more likely that Guy will completely refuse to give you what you’re trying to buy. He’ll either be out of stock, flat out refuse to sell you something, or try to confuse you into buying an extra item you didn’t intend to get. Often he’ll refuse to sell you one item, offer you a different one for free as a compensation, and then still get you to pay twice as much. You have to understand though, this is the only way for people in Wasteland to survive and make profit, and Guy is still used to this.
On the other hand, if he likes you or you know how to outsmart him, you might even get some of his fancy items for free. If you're on good terms with him and the particular kind of person, you'll be able to get some sketchy or even illegal things here.
Besided selling things, Inconvenience Store is known in certain circles as the place to be if you wanna experience some T@Ö#Å3 away from home. In the basement of the store Guy often hosts parties where pretty much everything goes. Here it's easy to gmable away your life savings, or accidentally die from drinking something you didn't realize was actually poison.
The Prostitute?
When you visit the store, Guy will greet you with his signature phrase: “What can I offer? A magazine? Beverage? A prostitute?”. Now, you might be able to get a magazine or a beverage, but you will never get the prostitute. Never ever. Don’t even try. She belongs to Guy and only Guy. Don't ask too much about croissants either.
