Blank Characters
What Are They Even?
Well, it's pretty simple. Blank Characters aren't really people yet, they are only blank templates for people to be. Glitter God and Satan like to have bunch of these in stock for when a new character might need to be created. That way they don't have to always create them from scratch, but just add important characteristics when the time comes. Until they are chosen the aimlessly wander Wasteland of Å+*4~.
Main Characteristics
As far as their species goes, they are assumed to be moles, but it would be more correct to say that they don't actually have species. It's true that most of the world population are moles, but blank characters can still be rendered into bat people or fairies before being placed into the world.
It's not entirely sure if some of the blank characters are female, or if they are all male but get "rendered" into females before being put into the world. Regrardless, true women are a rarity, and we can safely assume that at least vast majority of them are male.
Appearance-wise, they are blank and generic. They don't have faces, they have short black hair, and are dressed in their standard grey outfits.
As not considered to be actually alive yet, they don't do much of what an actual person would do. They don't eat or sleep or have any other bodily functions. They have no souls yet and therefore no personaity. They aren't technically alive, so they can't get sick or injured , they don't age or die. They just wander the Wasteland aimlessly and that's all there is to them.
Types
Despite being generic, bland and entirely blank, there actually are some different types of blank characters:
Standard
Standard blank characters are the ones wandering Wasteland, waiting to be chosen to be put into the world. They are brand new, or repurposed and "rendered" from The Damned.
Half Blank
These are a special type of a character that is only halfway a real person. Great majority of these are Agents, but Guardian of Gates of Hell is also known to be one. These are used for specific tasks that have to do with overseeing the world. You need someone who is a real enough person to be able to perform the tasks and make judgements, but you don't want someone with a whole personality who would work for their own motives and maybe even to the harm of others. Their role is to serve only.
The Damned
This is what happens to you after you die. As you started out from a blank character, you return to being one after you die. This is a long and grueling process, that starts after you enter Hell. Here, you get your standard grey outfit and your hair is cut short and "rendered" back to black, should your previous hair color be different. After this, your eyes and mouth are sewn shut - you won't be needing your facial features where you're going. After that, you'll remain in Hell, doing paperwork or escorting other newcomers through Hell. When your facial and all the other features inevitably disappear completely, you'll be put back into Wasteland to wander aimlessly with all the other blank characters.
