Unity Combat Vessel, Patrol Ship Role, Minotaur Class (Retired)

Known for exceeding design specifications the Minotaur chassis carries armor equivalent to a heavier-role vessel and a drive that can keep up with ships well below its weight class. The UCV Minotaur and its test crew famously outmanuvered a Yustaric battlecruiser and crippled the cruiser's ability to land a foothold over Viridian during its first fully-functional test flight. The Minotaur-class patrol ship was in service for nearly 300 years until its successor, the Chimera-class, was introduced with a deadlier compliment of energy weaponry and a more robust ECM and cyberwarfare suite.

The Wyvern was purchased by Maggie Galer at a police auction after the vessel was siezed by the Unity Peacekeepers from drug smugglers. The ship's interior was modified from military standard, reducing the total crew capacity, but increasing crew comfort... and providing more than a few hiding places for descreet cargo.
