Vagabond and Echelon

Not much is known about how Vee and Lolo first met, but however they came to be acquainted, this unlikely pair is inseparable now. The hulking Echelon was a member of the Techrats cybergang, and his significant cybernetic enhancements, while effective, seem primitive even by that group’s standards. Even less is known about Vagabond, except that he is schooled in dark magic, and may have once been affiliated with the Hemlocks gang. The prevailing guess is that the two were sent to attack each other but became distracted over their shared love of bowler hats and got to talking. Nowadays the pair seem to spend a large measure of their time waiting for God only knows what, but they’re patient, and they find ways to pass the time...though it would have passed anyway.

Both men wear bowler hats, although the reasons for this are unknown.

The reason for the bowler hats is that Vagabond and Echelon are a nod to Vladimir and Estragon from Waiting for Godot. Their appearance and behavior in Identity Crisis: Adventures in Babysitting is a running joke, since they're usually seen standing around next to a lone tree and making absurist philosophical commentary as they wait for a colleague who doesn't show up. (Although unlike Godot, Xenos does eventually show up, but in the body of Prodigious Girl.)
