Located in the heart of downtown
Faraday City, the Spire was erected as a memorial to all those who'd lost their lives during
The Turning Point. However, for many residents, it has come to symbolize the city itself, providing inspiration and serving as a reminder that while their roots were strong, their reach would always be to the future. The gleaming silver-white monument is nearly as tall as the surrounding skyscrapers, and from afar resembles a slender needle that from the ground seemed to be stretching skyward towards some distant new frontier.
Urban Legends
It's said that new heroes starting off their careers would visit the pinnacle of the Spire to read a hidden message left there by
Promethean or one of the other older heroes, imparting words of wisdom. However, when
Prodigious Girl and
Enchantrix went to check, all they found was some graffiti saying "Flash your tits."
